Here's how this will work...
(We don't officially start until September 1st, so please forgive any technical issues... do let us know about them!)
1. Register for the Event.
Go to www.gouverneurbreastcancerwalk.com to create your fundraising page. Add some personality to your page, like a photo or a story. You want to encourage people to contribute to your fundraiser. Your page is where you entice them to do that. You can set a goal for the amount you want to raise or just collect contributions.
Teams? YES! After you register, if you want to set up a team, a you'll see a button that will allow you to do that. Your team members must also be registered in order to add them to your team. Set an individual or team goal and your sponsors will help you raise money. All team members must have a personal fundraising page.
2. Get Your Sponsors.
During the months of September and October, we invite you and your team to participate in an activity for which sponsors give you money. You might choose to run, walk, or bike. Once you register, you will have a personal webpage that will guide you in how to report your contributions, individual or team.
You may want to use the 2020 Pledge Worksheet to keep track of your sponsors, but be sure to record donations on your personal page to have them count toward the final tally.
3. Run or Bike, or Walk.
Set a goal or just collect as many contributions as you can... then "Get 'er Done!" The campaign will last until October 31, 2020.
